This was my earlier review of Fukuburger.
Fukuburger is a popular hamburger joint off the Strip, and a lot of this is due to the unique nature of the burgers. Basically, they attempt to fuse a hamburger with some Japanese flavors. I remember being hesitant to try one of these burgers, but once I did, I was happy with the experience. These burgers are not as exotic as they sound, but they are delicious.
They have five different burgers to choose from and one chicken sandwich. I’ve never had the chicken sandwich because I don’t eat chicken at burger joints. The Fukuburger is number one on the menu and is the most basic. It is simply a cheeseburger with Japanese flavoring such as wasabi mayo. This is probably a good choice for your first time. Number 2 is the Tamago, a burger made with egg. The number three is the Buta, which is their version of a bacon burger. Number four is the Kinoko. This burger comes with a fried shitake mushroom, and I think is the best burger with mushroom I’ve ever had. The last burger is their spicy burger. This one I’ve never tried. Eat one at your own risk.
You can save a couple of dollars and order your meal as a combo. Along with a drink, you will get an order of fries. They have a spicy seasoning to them and come with ketchup and crack sauce. I’m not sure what the crack sauce is, but it is creamy with a light, sweet taste to it. I don’t even care about the ketchup, just give me the crack sauce.
Fukuburger is located on Jones Blvd near the corner of Spring Mountain. Spring Mountain is where the Fashion Show Mall and Treasure Island are located. You need to head west to get to Jones.
