For those who are using my NHL Road Dog System from my book More Sports and Horse Racing Betting Systems That Work!, or from the book, Betting Systems for all Major Sports, the following is the value of one goal for the 2022-23 season.
Average goals per game/per team for 2021-22 season was 3.14. This is the highest number in over a couple of decades. It may be that the high scoring days of the 1980s and early 1990s are returning. Only time will tell.
Dividing a dollar by 3.14 goals is 0.318 or 31.8 cents per goal. This will be the number used to calculate the money line for the 2022-23 season.
